Murry Woods & Tangled Blue - a combination of talented musicians from around the country converging in Austin. They perform a blend of Texas Guitar Rock and R&B. Led by Murry Woods, whom the Austin American Statesman often features as "Austin's Best Bet", the band will take you on a magical journey.
Murry Woods & Tangled Blue also includes Leslie McCurdy on bass. Leslie started his life in Venezuela, living in a number of interesting places including Ottawa, Canada and New York City. He eventually came to the band and Austin from Santa Fe, N.M.
Frank Kriege, on drums, is out of St. Louis. He found his way South to arrive on the scene to add the final touch to the sound of the band.
Murry Woods and Tangled Blue finished their first CD - Murry Woods & Tangled Blue on Tiny Island Records in 1996. They have just released their second C.D. - Murry Woods & Tangled Blue II (2002).
