Since their first gig in August 2001 at the Roadhouse in Manchester, ‘Kickswitch have evolved from a competent metal band wearing it’s influences on it’s sleeve (tool, deftones), into a tighter, fresher more unique sounding unit’*.
After playing a handful of gigs in the Manchester area, Kickswitch played at local music venue, Rock Kitchen, where they played their biggest gig so far to a 250 strong crowd. They were also invited to play at the Manchester Academy 3 supporting ‘Ellis’ on their National tour. From that slot, they have more than doubled their fanbase, which is increasing after regular bookings from around the region.
